The "Almost Famous" Mama Jack's Roadhouse Cafe was founded by Barbara and Jerry Jackson in the early 1980's in the small town of Kountze, Tx. After owning and operating for 40 years, The Jackson's have opened their kitchen to Jenny and Clay Holyfield. Following in their footsteps and upholding the family friendly hometown atmosphere, they have stepped in as the new owners of Mama Jack's in 2024.
We honor the memory of our beloved co-founder, Jerry Jackson, who passed away in May 2026. Jerry's warm spirit, dedication, and signature Texas hospitality were the foundation of everything we do. He is dearly missed, but his legacy lives on in every smile, every greeting, and every homemade meal served at Mama Jack's.

Take a detour in the road to eat here! The lunch buffet has plenty of choices. Salad bars are so hard to find, add a dessert bar we are stopping forever. Thank you for feeding us again today!

First time there. Checked out buffet and decided to go that route. Everything we ate was delicious. Well worth the drive to try it out.
